Tomatillo Salsa!

Combine 1/4 cup diced onion, 1/4 cup diced red pepper, 1/4cup  diced tomatillo with chopped cilantro, diced jalapeno, with a 1 tbs of olive oil, 1 tsp of lime juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.  Stir well.

Strawberry Basil and Almond Salad

Cooking with the count, mixes groovy tunes from all over the world, with inexpensive, but — funky food recepies that you can make at home. The premise: Every week, my wife entrusts me with her half of the grocery money to go to the store and buy us that which we need to create a fine feast.  However, what always seems to happen is that I stop at the record store first.  With my pocket-book lighter, and arms heavy with records, I go to the grocery store to purchase what I can with what money that remains.   My task is to create a meal, on limited means, using the records as inspiration to guide my menu.  If I succeed, no one is the wiser that I spent a portion of the budget on records.
